Description

·         Responsible for contracting for all revenue, including managed care and worker’s compensation and governmental payers. Workers’ compensation contracting includes contracting with UHS.

·         Includes contracting in new regions.

·         Includes all joint ventures.

·         Includes strategy for products and benefits.

·         Develop strategy for increase in overall reimbursement.

·         Build excellent relationships with major payers.

·         Coordinate relationship Availity and other on-line eligibility and – identify technical and process improvement opportunities and manage implementation with Availity and assist with implementation with centers.

·         Work with Marketing to develop managed care strategy to promote use of the company.
·         Negotiate all terms and conditions of contracts.

·         Work with Billing and IT to develop reports and information to maximize negotiating capabilities.

·         Manage all contract documents.

·         Create reference guides for contracts for centers.

·         Work with franchisees to obtain their use of contracts as appropriate.

·         Participate in review of Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare reimbursement issues.

·         Manage loading all contracts into practice management systems.

·         Manage AHCA managed care requirements.

·         Work with Billing to resolve claims payment issues.

·         Work with HR on provider credentialing.

Requirements

·         BA required

·         5 to 10 years provider contracting experience

·         Strong preference for facility contracting

·         Multi-location and multi-state experience definitely a plus

·         Must be a self-starter

·         Candidate will exhibit history of rapid increase in scope and responsibility

·         Must be able to travel

·         Strong negotiating skills

·         Strong analytical and organization skills

·         Must have Excel and Word skills

·         Presentation experience a plus
