The enthusiastic Agency Support Representative will provide excellent customer service to prospective and existing policyholders of a specialty insurance agency by handling the following:
- Take incoming customer service phone calls, requests, and maintain change requests
- Follow up with customers who have not sent required information
- Follow up on renewals pending
- Follow up with customer service on endorsements
- Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell existing customers
- Generate quotes on behalf of agents
- Maintain customer files in Agency Management System
- Open incoming mail
- Assist with direct mailers and newsletters
- Maintain supply of all forms, form letters and office supplies
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications we are looking for:
- High school graduate, GED or equivalent.
- Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance license required.
- Previous related experience required.
- Must be able to work from 9:00am to 6:00pm or 10:00am to 7:00pm.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Knowledge of Boats and RV’s is a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret insurance contracts, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and management.
- Good telephone skills are required.
- PC skills, including word processing, spreadsheets and database utilization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-to two-step instructions.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations.
