Description

Full-time, Part-time and Substitute Residential and Day Services Instructors needed for work programs and group homes located in the Farmington Valley to facilitate our participants independence and choice-making by advocating community integration through work, volunteer, social, or leisure opportunities.

Residential Instructors provide varied supports to persons with intellectual disabilities living in group homes or apartments. 1st shift, 2nd shift and weekend hours available.

Day Services Instructors are responsible for the supervision and safety of participants at day programs, work sites and in the community. FT, PT & Substitute hours available.

Requirements

Experience in Human Services preferred.
Physically able to meet the demands of any work site or program activity and be able to perform CPR and other restraint procedures.
Able to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) in the English language.
Over 18 with a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
A valid CT Driver's License and good driving record and, if required, the ability to obtain a Public Service Operators License within 90 days of hire.
