Assistant Property Manager

 

We currently have an opening for an Assistant Property Manager for our Lexington Village location in Cleveland, Ohio. 

 

 

Responsibilites:

 

  • Assist the Site Manager with the ongoing operational, leasing and administrative functions of the property.
  • Screen and hire vendors, oversee phased implementation of property rehabilitation projects and general maintenance,
  • Develop preventative maintenance schedule, process recertifications,
  • Answer telephone inquiries,
  • Show apartments to prospective residents,
  • Prepare move-in files,
  • Process lease renewals,
  • Prepare and submit reports to the company,
  • Prepare and follow-up on maintenance work orders and other administrative duties as assigned by the Site Manager.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining positive resident and community relationships.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a property management position a necessity and two years tax credit experience a plus.
  • Experience with public, subsidized or affordable housing and strong operations background is a necessity.
  • Ability to focus on accounts receivable/payables, organizing, prioritizing and assigning multiple tasks on a steady basis.
  •  This job requires strong customer service, project and crisis management and communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to stay organized and solve small and large problems as necessary.
  • Yardi and computer proficiency is necessary.
