Job Description

Pasona MIC is a joint venture of Mitsubishi International Corporation (MIC) and Pasona NA (established in 1986). We are the only Japanese recruiting firm that has a nationwide and international (Japan) network based out of the Midwest with a total of 8 branches dispersed throughout the U.S. Our firm focuses on recruiting mainly for automotive related manufacturing companies of various career levels and job categories for direct hire, temp-to-hire, and temporary positions. One of our clients in near Indianapolis IN is currently seeking for Assistant Human Resources Manager.

This is a full time/ direct hire position and the company's benefit packages will be available after 90 days of introductory period. 

The main job duties are the following.

  • Administer all employee benefits which includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Vacation, Sick/Personal
  • Ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.
  • Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
  • Process and reconcile vendor invoices
  • Administer workers compensation
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Prepare new hire and termination paperwork
  • Conduct new hire and benefits orientations
  • Prepare and maintain personnel and benefits folders
  • Assist with administration of payroll
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.


Job Requirements

  • 4-year college degree
  • More than 4 years of H.R. generalist experience preferably within a Manufacturing environment.
  • Must have Union Avoidance experience.
  • PHR or SPHR preferred.
