Description:

The VP of IT will report directly to the COO of Rosetta Stone and is responsible for driving the advancement, process optimization and strategic direction of Rosetta Stone’s Information Technology department.  In an information hungry company, you will control the collection and delivery of information across the entire organization. As Rosetta Stone shifts its focus to international expansion, you will be critical in managing our growing global telecommunications voice and data network. Through the optimization of applications using Oracle ERP, your department will enable our business to move faster, sell more and improve the customer experience. The VP, IT will have significant impact on his/her department, helping to mentor and grow a team of new managers and directors as well as being a key member of the executive management team and liaising across the entire organization. This is a unique hands on opportunity in that while you are serving in an executive role, you will also be working hard in the trenches to help deliver innovative business enabling solutions.

job Requirements

You are a strong candidate for this position if….


 

  1.  You have experience managing the complete lifecycle of an ERP, preferably Oracle EBS.
  2.  You’ve led an IT department that included both systems and infrastructure and have at least 2-3 years experience as a Vice President in a mid cap or larger company.
  3. You are an expert and have an excellent grasp of vendor management for both products and services.
  4. You have experience working globally.
  5. You have a good understanding of compliance initiatives such as PCI Compliance and Sarbanes-Oxley.
