Job Summary:

Flagstar Bank is seeking a detail oriented, analytical minded individual to join our commercial loan risk department as a credit analyst.  This individual will be responsible for completing basic analysis of commercial and warehouse loan requests and making recommendations for approval or denial.

Responsibilities:

 

• Review and analyze commercial and warehouse loan request packages.
• Spread and review financial information. 
• Prepares loan committee persentations that are used by senior management and some of which go to the Board of Directors. 
• Monitor financial condition of existing borrowers.
• Create management reports. 

 

 

 

• Bachelors, undergraduate or technical degree.
• Previous commercial real estate experience preferred. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, highly refined facilitation skills, as well as solid problem solving, conflict resolution and team building skills. 
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of leadership and staff within the organization, work autonomously, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and remain flexible and adaptable.
• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision is required.
• Competently utilize computer software.
• Ability to work regularly scheduled hours, 8:30 - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday, some weekend or evening hours may be required upon business need.
