Software Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst responsible for QA tasks related to the ClearStar.net framework.  Applicant will help identify, diagnose, and prevent quality issues related to product maintenance and the development of new products within the ClearStar.net framework.  This position requires a person who is driven and able to support projects through the entire software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans to ensure product design and performance conform to product requirements and specifications

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases (both manual and automated) based on functional requirements

• Identify test automation opportunities and tools to automate test procedures when appropriate

• Perform regression, functional, usability, compatibility, ad-hoc, and stress testing for web applications

• Execute test cases, report defects, and retest defects for each release

• Find, track, and report product usability issues, defects, and incompatibles

• Review and interpret test results with developers to resolve any defects and issues

• Participate in functional and technical meetings through the entire lifecycle of the project

• Assist with the preparation of test data and the test environment

• Assist design and implement testing strategy and framework

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred

• 3-5 years of systems quality assurance experience preferred

• Prior experience with scripting and automated testing tools required

• Sound understanding of QA testing methods (Black vs. White box)

• Sound understanding of the entire software development lifecycle

• Exposure to ASP.net, IIS, and SQL Server environments

• Exposure to Agile and Iterative development processes

• Excellent analytical skills with strong problem solving abilities
