Main duties include developing and supporting custom applications on SQL Server 2005 utilizing T-SQL, SQL CLR and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).  Core development tools utilized in this position include SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Query Analyzer and Visual Studio 2005.

 

Applications development includes the design and coding of SQL Stored Procedures, SQL Triggers, CLR, VB.NET, C#.NET, Windows and web-based applications using ASP.NET, custom reports, Microsoft Access and Excel applications, VBA, and conversion of Visual Basic 6 applications to the .NET framework.

 

 

Requirements

Applicant must have a Bachelor Degree of Computer Science at a minimum. Strong knowledge of relational database design and positive communication skills are required.  Customer interaction and feedback is a large part of the development duties. This position also includes the responsibilities of writing procedures and documentation, training co-workers on the use of developed applications, and supporting third-party software.
