Business Analyst - Retail/Manufacturing

We are a Mid-west based plumbing fixture manufacturer with a national customer base.  Since 1929 we have been providing high quality fixtures to the building industry, wholesale distribution and retail home centers.

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic individual to work closely with our largest customer, with the opportunity to directly impact sales and profitability.  This individual will be involved in developing category recommendations through detailed analytical support.  Areas of responsibility include inventory control, sales forecasting, order management and sales performance with a major retail outlet.  This position will report to the Corporate Demand Manager and work closely with the VP-Retail Sales.

Primary duties:

• Collecting and analyzing data for sales trends and forecasting purposes
• Using data to formulate inventory levels to achieve optimal turns and profitability
• Identify opportunities and make recommendations
• Support strategic planning - sales and inventory
• Identify advertising drivers for sales development
• Maintain professional relationship with merchandising staff
• Practice discretion in working with confidential information
