Key Duties
-
Confer with metal processing department functional leads to ensure efficient operations and production targets are achieved.
-
Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures.
-
Maintain a clean, effective, and efficient work environment.
-
Act as Facility lead for all safety related functions.
-
Direct plant policies and procedures in coordination with the Business Operations Manager.
-
Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
-
Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules.
-
Hire and train plant supervisory and administrative staff.
-
Schedule and conduct plant meetings for the production team.
-
Responsible for the plant’ product quality control.
-
Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.
-
Conduct employee performance reviews.
-
Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Metallurgical Engineering.
-
10+ years of scrap metal processing plant experience.
-
Permit application experience with EPA/Government.
-
Experience with acquiring bank financing.
-
Scheduling and project management.
-
Emphasis on quality control and safety at all times.
-
Proven track record in Supervision/leadership/management.
-
Excellent understanding of OSHA requirements.
