Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Midwife -
Evaluates the health status of individual patients and provides direct family planning. Responsibilities: 1. Carries out the direct patient care in accordance with stated policies and standing orders including 2. Must comply with the outlined process of clinical orientation and proctoring by assigned Clinician II. 3. Participates in educational activities of the agency including staff in-service, orientation of new staff and volunteers training and community education programs 4. Participates in continuing education and in-service training to further own professional development and that of other staff 5. Participates in the development of policies and protocols as assigned. 6. Participates in long range planning for clinic services. 7. Travel between clinic sites and to meetings, conferences and training as required. 8. May have to cover co-workers' planned and unplanned time away from the office. 9. Participates in Planned Parenthood of South Central New York's’s Quality Risk Management activities. 10. Will become knowledgeable about Title X funding and the billing/coding of their clients.
