Provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning and budget management functions. Ensures company accounting procedures conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Responsible for the development and maintenance of an accounting system to record, monitor and report all transactions, assets and liabilities of the division and the management of the general and cost accounting departments.
Directs financial activities of an organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors:
- Recommends modifications to existing corporate programs.
- Overall responsibility for all financial matters of the organization
- Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, cash flow, overhead, G&A, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
- Responsible for maintaining and developing new internal accounting procedures and for developing, adapting, or revising various accounting systems in coordination with data processing personnel
- Projects overheads and G&A rates
- Prepares Divisional financial plan for current year and projection for five (5) years.
- Administer all company policies, including performance reviews, wage and salary administration and personnel employment.
