Human Resources Manager

Buena Vista University is seeking a dynamic individual who understands the strengths and opportunities of working in a university environment as a Human Resources Manager. The successful candidate will be able to coach, train and facilitate new and existing programs across all levels of the institution.

This position is responsible for developing and administering various human resources plans and procedures for all University personnel. Other duties will include items related to compensation programs, personnel policies and procedures, benefit administration, recruitment, training,  and other HR functions. 

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field with three to five years experience within the HR field. Master's degree is preferred. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is required or certification must be in progress.
