Telecom Field Technician - CDMA iDEN

Position            :  Field Technician
Locations         : Farmington Hills, MI
Duration            : 6 Months Contract

Duties:

• Maintain wireless cellsites in the Michigan market Equipment Experience: Nortel CDMA/Motorola iDEN A Field Technician II is a fully experienced non-exempt role, performing a variety of skilled routine and non-routine duties.
• Performance testing. Also responsible for acceptance testing of new sites, installation and commissioning of additional equipment, assisting in customer service trouble resolution, and associated administrative duties
• Experience installing/maintaining switch, cell and network equipment

Skills:

• Experience in the wireless field, with general knowledge of RF.
• T1 installation/testing/troubleshooting skill is preferred. Spectrum Analyzer experience preferred.
• Maintenance of switch, cell, network, or CPE equipment Selected candidate must have valid drivers’ license and an acceptable driving history based on Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Education:

    Minimum of 2 year associate degree in electronics and or telephony or equivalent experience.
