Director of Health Services (RN)
Silverado Senior Living is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as the Director of Health Services and oversee the clinical care at our Northwest Houston Assisted Living community.
Silverado is a long-term care company, providing award-winning dementia care. We are looking for a special RN who has a passion for gerontology and working with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other memory impairing diseases. General Director of Health Services responsibilities include…
- Monitoring overall quality of nursing care, mentoring and training new nurses and Certified Nurse Assistants.
- Conducting regular assessments of residents’ health conditions and maintaining regular communication with the families and the physicians
- Managing the monthly schedules of the clinical division of the community, ensuring there is always adequate coverage. This position does include 24-hour on-call responsibilities.

Requirements
Ideal Director of Health Services candidate experience and background will include:
- Registered Nurse (RN, BSN or MSN) with current state license
- Proven success as a nursing leader.
- Previous leadership experience in assisted living, rehab, subacute, geriatrics, skilled nursing, MDS coordination, or long-term care.
- Experience caring for frail elderly or dementia patients is desirable.
