Description

CSR/ P&C Insurance Account Manager with  knowledge of coverage's/technical skills to service clients. Majority will be personal lines (some commercial) Looking for individuals who thrive in a fast paced environment.  Salary based on experience.

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and retain clients accounts with an emphasis on customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Handle new and renewal business, negotiate with carrier for pricing and coverage, work to increase business on existing accounts by adding other coverage & multi lining.
  • Must have experience with servicing many accounts
  • Request renewal information for client.
  • Oversee issuance of binders, invoices, certificate and documents on renewals.
  • Answer client questons and help resolve coverage related problems.
Requirements
  • Agent's Insurance license (if experienced will discuss obtaining license)
  • Knowledge of insurance industry standards, policies and procedures.
  • 2+ years experience specific to job duties in a insurance agency/brokerage environment.
  • Written and communications skills.
  • Sense of urgency to meet client and producer expectations.
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel and a Agency Management System (Applied Online/Tam)
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively relate to customers
  • Strong listening, oral, and written communications skills
  • Ability to take initiative and act effectively both individually and as a member of a team without direction
  • Ability to create and maintain professional business relationships with prospects, policyholders, co-workers, and associates
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain strong organizational skills
  • Ability to remain positive and maintain progress towards a goal in spite of obstacles and adversity
