E-Prescribing PM Analyst

Purpose: Need contractor to lead the implementation of the SureScripts-Payer portion of E-Prescribing from the Epic Electronic Medical Record.  This new phase of the project requires the implementation of SureScripts-Payor, which includes medication history, formulary and eligibility portions of E-Prescribing.

Job Requirements:

The consultant will be working with an EMR application analyst who is 50% allocated to this project. 

Responsibilities include:

·         project planning and execution

·         providing timely status reports and keeping up-to-date project plan

·         leading workflow and technical analysis

·         developing an expertise in SureScripts-Payer functionality

·         performing Epic application build

·         developing a test plan, writing and executing testing scripts for multiple phases of testing

·         presentation of the solution to clinical groups for approval and communication

·         planning and coordination of end-user acceptance testing

·         working with the training team to develop training and communication materials

·         developing and executing a deployment plan

·         writing support scripts and achieving hand-off of the project to the appropriate support group

·         creation of project documentation.

Qualifications:

·         Certification in EpicCare Ambulatory or Inpatient is a requirement

·         prior knowledge of or experience with outpatient pharmacy and E-Prescribing with SureScripts – preferably ‘payer’ functionality (medication history, formulary, and eligibility)

·         superior project management, analysis and Epic build skills

·         able to meet an aggressive timeline.
