We are always seeking the best people to join our winning team and we are currently looking for a qualified individual to join our Insurance Billing and Follow-up Division in our beautiful Mid-Wilshire offices – just a short walk from the Wilshire/Vermont Metro Station.
Position Description
Understanding of and experience in calculating managed care reimbursement contracts (HMO, PPO, Capitation, Workers’ Comp and government programs). Working knowledge of data elements of UB04 and HCFA 1500; payer and industry trends for follow up and reimbursement. Ability to identify and design necessary work processes to achieve desired results. Working knowledge of basic collection laws.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years supervisory and collection procedures in Healthcare environment. Strong verbal/written communication; organizational; analytical; multi-tasking; follow through as well as people skills. Strong quality assurance skills necessary for account review; project review and performance of staff. Experience using computerized patient account systems. Ability to type minimum 35 wpm. High School Diploma or equivalent.
