Meat Merchandiser

Roundy's Supermarkets Inc. one of the Midwest’s premier food retailers is searching for a Meat Merchandiser for Wisconsin. Company-owned and operated supermarkets include Pick ‘n Save stores and Copps Food Centers in Wisconsin and Rainbow Foods in Minnesota.

Responsibilities include achieving or exceeding all budgeted meat sales and profit goals for assigned stores in your district.
 Will conduct seminars for managers in seasonable product, care and handling of Meat, increasing sales and gross profits, merchandising and effective displays. Set up new meat departments and assist in resets and remodels in existing departments.
The objective in the position is to achieve budgeted gross profits and meat sales in corporate Meat departments. Will train newly hired meat personnel on product, care and maintenance, display building and ordering.
We require 4 plus years of Meat product knowledge to include merchandising, handling, cutting and presentation options, in a retail environment with increasing levels of responsibility. Good negotiating and management development skills are required. Supermarket Meat merchandising experience over multiple units is required. Excellent communications skills-written & oral are required.

Position involves over 80% travel throughout the state of Wisconsin.
