Qualifications
BA or greater; 8 - 10 years professional development experience.
The Development Officer position for the George Institute will be charged with developing annual support for operations, programs and projects of the George Institute, and when necessary and defined, Campaign support.  This will require a comprehensive set of skills including experience and proven success in face to face fund raising, grant writing, donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship; the ability to create appropriate and effective communications and events to meet fund raising goals and to position the George Institute in the wider community.  The Development Officer will be a member of the Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation staff and will help develop a hospital-wide annual fund.  The Development Officer for the George Institute will serve as the Foundation's primary liaison to George Institute professional and volunteer leadership.

40 hours per week
Day shifts; Monday - Friday, flexible within business hours.
