Job Summary:

A Busy Greenbelt Collections Firm seeks applicants for a Full-Time or Part-Time, Client Support and Customer Service Specialist.

Individuals with strong organizational and communication skills and  previous industry experience are encouraged  to apply.

Responsibilities of Customer Support Specialist:

  • Communicate with debtors by telephone and written correspondence to attempt to bring resolution to unpaid accounts
  • Provide clients with routine updates and reports on submitted debt portfolios
  • Provide thorough, efficient, and accurate explanations of status, activity and work history to clients on debt portfolios and debt accounts
  • Update and manage a growing database of clients, including client names, locations, contact information, etc.
  • Counsel clients on methods to increase their portfolio yields
  • Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement
  • Make recommendations to implement improved processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management  

 

Requirements

Requirements of a Customer Support Specialist:

 

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) certificate.  Associates or Bachelor’s Degree is a plus

  • Strong communication skills, including confident telephone skills and superior ability to communicate via email

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products

  • Strong computer Skills, excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team fostered environment

  • Ability to work in multi-tasked environment

  • Ability to prioritize and organize work and adapt to a flexible schedule
