The Senior Secretary - Marketing Communications career opportunity is a temporary position that may lead to full-time employment.

Job responsibilities include the following:

  • Perform administrative duties for the Manager, Marketing Communications and Department Supervisors.

  • Schedule meetings and appointments.

  • Generate standard and special reports as required.

  • Assist with the coordination and record keeping required by the Performance Development System.

  • Coordinate all aspects of travel requirements.

  • Coordinate and monitor group spend including Travel and Entertainment expenses.

  • Coordinate office activities in the Marketing Communications Group. 

  • Coordinate external phone calls to appropriate internal personnel.

  • Interaction with specific vendors as needed.

  • Purchase order generation and invoice reconciliation for group spend.

  • Special projects and other duties as assigned by the Manager, Marketing Communications.

Requirements
  • High school graduate with post high school business education or equivalent. 

  • Administrative assistant experience preferred.

  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes and SAP.

  • Excellent attendance is required.

  • Discreet in the handling of confidential information.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including a pleasant telephone manner.

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels of the organization.

  • Familiarity with Lincoln products extremely helpful.
