Law Enforcement Sales Manager

Description Must be a skilled Sales Manager able to oversee the sales and business development efforts of existing and new Dealers and Distributors.  Develop, build and maintain relationships with all federal agencies and L.E. accounts.  Set sales goals and closely supervise and direct Beretta’s Law Enforcement Independent Manufacturer’s Sales Rep. Groups’ activities.  Represent Beretta in the law enforcement community.  Develop and implement short/long term strategic sales objectives to accommodate corporate goals.  Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals.  Meet with clients and assist L.E. Sales Rep. Groups while maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.  Compile list of prospective customers for use as sales leads.  Assist Marketing in L.E. product development and in monitoring and evaluating competitors’ activities and products.  Direct channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Business preferred.  Minimum 3-5 years related experience in Law Enforcement required.  Five plus years sales experience dealing with L.E. accounts required.  Computer proficiency: MS Word, Excel, Power Point required.  MS Access preferred.  Must reside in Accokeek, MD or within local surrounding areas.  Must have ability to travel extensively by car or plan and work weekends as required.  Must be able to manage all L.E. shows and attend trade shows.  Ability to properly, professionally and safely use firearms in a public/private forum.
