 Ground Services Agent/Customer Services Representative

 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Accepts and accommodates passengers and their personal belongings for transportation on Pinnacle flights.
• Follows and enforces security and hazardous material regulations at locations to ensure the safety and integrity of customer and company property, as well as other aircraft and facilities.
• Maintains facilities and equipment so as to ensure a neat, safe, efficient operating environment.
• Completes daily, weekly and monthly reports and records as required for the efficient operation of the facility and aircraft.
• Provides for the safety of customers, guests and employees and other persons whenever they are on or in Company property or aircraft or within the air operations area in use by Pinnacle Airlines.
• Provides assistance to passengers in need and directing pedestrian traffic.
• Complies with all Pinnacle/other Airlines operating and safety procedures and policies.
• Works under the direction of an assigned supervisor or lead in the ground service division.
• Marshalls aircraft, loads/unloads and sorts luggage/cargo.
• Operates machinery (tugs, pushback equipment, commissary trucks, lavatory and water carts, etc.) refuels and cleans ground equipment and removes debris from tarmac.
• Reports cargo and passengers boarding flight.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Cleaning aircraft cabins and some exterior surfaces, Company facilities, potable water carts and cabinets.
• Servicing aircraft lavatory waste tanks.
• Deicing aircraft.
• Meeting Company and social standards of dress and conduct at all times while representing the Company either on or off the job.
• Stocking aircraft with commissary supplies.
• Completing and performing required specially trained functions, weather observations, passenger security screening, ground security coordination, etc., or any other functions suggested by the immediate supervisor.
• Performing additional functions (essential or otherwise) which may be assigned from time to time.
• Assisting with on-the-job-training of new employees.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds repetitively.  Will work in all weather conditions regardless of severity (less lightning storms within airport perimeter).  Must be able to bend, squat and climb stairs.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:  Team leader will direct shift activities to achieve safety and on-time departure goals.
