Job Title: MANUFACTURING ENGINEER/LEAN ENGINEER
JOB SUMMARY: Manage Projects for new equipment installations, Develop and initiate continuous improvements to existing lines, in the areas of cost reduction, increased efficiency and quality improvement. Initiate developments to the most suitable processes and equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Strong Mechanical and Controls skills.
Continuous improvements to machine and labor efficiency.
Continuous improvements to processes and quality.
Support the day to day operations.
Support continuous improvement activities.
Develop or specify manufacturing requirements for new equipment needs or in support of improvement activities.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
BSME degree a MUST
Must have background in plastic injection molding, extrusion or silicone molding
Requirements
BSME
Experience with injection molding equipment or silicone molding!
STRONG lean/six sigma skills and implementation experience.
