Consignment Inventory Associate / Customer Service

A medical equipment provider is seeking a Consignment Inventory Associate / Customer Service Representative to join our team in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Job Summary
  • Support, communicate and implement all initiatives for Consignment Inventory Program & Direct Purchase customers
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and processes


    Responsibilities

  • Review and process orders (warehouse transfer orders, PAR changes & new product requests, facility orders)
  • Follow up with Sales on outstanding matters concerning consignment accounts (product changes, pending requests, clean up, etc)
  • Identify inactive inventory and take action to reduce/remove from consignment locations
  • Utilize the internal reports to support Sales in identifying and reconciling any potential variances prior to the quarterly physical audit
  • Provide Sales support with all customer inquires
  • Work with Buyer / Planner when new products are introduced by identifying & executing potential product swaps
  • Support Compliance Department when identifying changes to medical coverage & future product availability
  • Support all activity related to quarterly consignment location audits (generate shrinkage invoices, credits, investigate discrepancies)
  • Requirements Education/Experience:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • At least 6 months related experience and / or training

  • Skills:

  • Provide timely, courteous, and efficient service to customers
  • Communicate regularly with internal and external customers via telephone, mail and computer
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Detail oriented and able to work multiple tasks independently
