We are currently searching for an Engineering Laboratory Technician
3rd shift (11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.)
We are Electrolux Major Appliances! Come and join our top notch organization! We are located in Kinston, North Carolina since 1989. Our division manufactures dishwashers.
As a full time Laboratory Technician you will be conducting a variety of tests on prototype and manufactured parts as well as finished products to assure compliance with accepted standards and regulations.
The Individual will conduct testing, including but not limited to, voltage, amperage, torque, water pressure, tensile strength, temperature extremes, salt spray, transit testing etc. to assure compliance with predetermined acceptable standards and/or government regulations.
Other duties include:
Development Laboratory Testing using standard electronic lab test equipment
Test report and summaries
Utilize good laboratory practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Other duties as assigned by Manager of Laboratory
The Requirements of this position include:
- Associate degree in technical field
- Two or more years of experience in electronic circuit testing or 7 yrs of a related testing experience.
The successful candidates will possess the following skills:
- Electrical and Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to inspect and measure precise / fine products and prototypes
- Familiarity with Labview data acquisition and analysis software
- Working knowledge of MS office products and database skills such as Microsoft’s Excel
- Ability to work independently or as part of a engineering and technician team. Additional helpful skills include:
- Blueprint reading
- Machining
- Electrical wiring and data acquisition experience.
