Job Description

The Port City Group, Inc. is a fast growing MRI office seeking to bring a part-time Project Coordinator on board to assist with the sourcing of qualified healthcare/medical candidates for permanent and contract staffing opportunities. Your primary focus will be working with nurses and physicians.
 
With the economy beginning to turn around, our healthcare business is booming and our Recruiters are overwhelmed with job orders. We are seeking a highly motivated individual seeking to join a small but growing business. This opportunity offers tremendous potential for personal, career and financial growth as our customer base and our company grows.

As a project coordinator with MRINetwork, one of the world's largest search and recruitment organizations, you will: 

  • Source passive healthcare/medical candidates through networking and complex Internet research to provide timely and innovative results.
  • Communicate directly with candidates to screen and arrange interviews.
  • Perform sourcing of resumes/candidate through internet and direct research
  • Manage job boards and job descriptions
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies

Technical:

  • This position is a phone-based position.  If you aren’t comfortable cold-calling candidates, this job is not for you!
  • Demonstrates expertise in using advanced search techniques to generate qualified and interested candidates
  • Demonstrates expertise in generating talent through networking and creative sourcing methods
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products and common PC desktop applications

Professional:

  • Good understanding of medical terminology and nursing a plus. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to quickly evaluate and prioritize tasks in a high volume staffing environment
  • Demonstrates the ability to build rapport with job seekers
  • Effectively utilizes strong communication, interpersonal, consultative and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to work with challenging and demanding clients and adapt to changes
  • Effectively works in partnership with Recruiters to maximize candidate flow
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A motivated self-starter

Experience/Education:

  • 2 – 5 years of administrative experience.
  • Staffing Industry or Corporate Recruiting experience is a plus but not required
  • Previous medical experience required.  Prefer working knowledge of hospitals, physician’s office or clinic.
