Job Description

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Manage all of the day to day sales / marketing, hiring, training, mentoring, counseling, coordination, and duties necessary to successfully run the hotel
  • Develop, recommend, implement, and manage the hotel's annual budget and long-term business plan, sales and marketing.

    Job Requirements

    Wat is required for this position:



  • 3+ years as a General Manager at a Hotel  or similar industry
  • Able to live-on the property (not all positions require to live on-site)
  • Network with the local business community to make our facility the hotel of choice when they have guests coming to town
  • Seek out new business and generate sales that are currently going to our competition
  • Build a staff that is vested in the success and protection of our hotel
  • Hands on experience able to train and mentor a diverse workforce.
  • Strong Customer Service background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
