Long Term Care Insurance Planning Specialist – Philadelphia and surrounding area
Position Description
The Genworth Financial Long Term Care Planning Specialist (LPS) is an independent insurance business professional responsible for increasing sales, by building relationships with insurance professionals, brokers, financial planners, and other Genworth Financial strategic account sales professionals. The Regional Product Specialist is the marketing and technical expert who represents Genworth Financial’s Long Term Care Division, educating and motivating other professionals to sell Genworth Financial Long Term Care Insurance products to their clients. The Regional Product Specialist is responsible for achieving profitable revenue growth through ethical operations and balance of Genworth Financial’s risk objectives with sales goal attainment. The income level will vary for each individual as income figures are based on sales results, with 100% commission sales.
Training/Career Track
Genworth Financial provides a comprehensive training program. Your first several months as an LPS will be spent in this intensive program. This outstanding program combines a balance of classroom and on-the-job training to build a superior level of skill and expertise in product knowledge, intermediary relationship building, and competitive marketing and selling strategies.
Requirements:
· 4 year college degree (all disciplines considered) or 1-3 yrs of equivalent sales experience
· Ability to present, negotiate and close sales
· Motivated, self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team
· Excellent problem solving, negotiation, persuasion & time management skills
· Strong oral & written presentation skills
· Demonstrate excellent relationship building skills
· Market Genworth Financial Long Term Care insurance as well as convey the technical aspects of our insurance contracts & provisions
· Must be willing to travel (car) up to 75% of time within territory.
Key Responsibilities:
· Achieve office and personal sales goals through negotiations and positioning of Genworth Financial offerings within Underwriting parameters.
· Build, maintain, and enhance strong producer relationships through superior product knowledge level, explicit territory management practices, and excellent customer service.
· Serve as key liaison between producers and customers and Genworth sales support, underwriting, and administration in the case acquisition process.
· Stay current on marketplace developments and the impacts to Genworth Financial market position.
· Develop relationships with producers to create differentiation and add value to each customer interaction.
