Manufacturing – Plant Accountant
Little Lady Foods, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Plant Accountant to support the Plant Controller at our Gurnee, Illinois facility. In this key financial role, you will provide operations with trend analysis and performance metrics including daily, weekly and monthly reports. This position is also responsible for month end accounting processes including journal entries and month end accruals and account analysis. You will also perform various special projects for the plant controller while making recommendations for improvement. This position could be just the start of a future career in the accounting field and holds the possibility of future growth within the company.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold at a minimum an associate degree in accounting. Experience in a cost accounting role within a manufacturing environment is required. Good working knowledge of Excel/Word is a must. Must be able to handle multiple projects and work well under pressure. Good math, analytical, data entry and personal communication skills are a must.
