My client is world class Machine / System manufacturer located in Bergen County NJ.
The industries they work with are diversified which will give you exposure to many different processes
My client is busy and getting busier, this position is an addition to staff.
Mechanical Design Engineer
- Responsible for mechanical design of Industrial equipment used for discharge, metering, conveying and process weighing of dry materials used for the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, water treatment plant and plastic processing industries.
- Design of feeders, continuous blenders, multiple auger metering and bin discharging mechanisms, mixers, dissolving liquid polyelectrolyte wetting systems, based on customer specifications.
- Any experience with Silo's will be a plus, not necessary.
- Electromechanical drive components, level & speed control device specification.
- Sheet metal developments; welding and machining detail drawings.
- Bill of materials and documentation for commercial and fabricated components.
- Using AutoCAD 2000, Microsoft Office and Excel for drawing and scheduling of fabrication.
You will need to have excellent communication skills to interface at all levels.
