Marketing Coordinator - Part Time Contractor

Sparkplug Communications is a leading provider of data and voice communications services for the small and medium business market. Sparkplug offers fixed wireless broadband networking, Internet access, and Voice services in five markets: Nashville, TN; Scottsdale and Phoenix, AZ; Chicago, IL; Des Moines, IA; and Las Vegas, NV. Sparkplug headquarters are located in Scottsdale.

This position reports to the Marketing Manager and is located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Responsibilities

Marketing Coordinator will be helping to support a new sales initiative at Sparkplug Communications. As such, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for helping to create all-new marketing campaigns targeted at specific markets and industry segments. Responsibilities include:

• Scripting sales calls
• Creating segment-focused campaigns with unique messaging (e.g., for healthcare, advertising, education, etc.)
• Defining new offers, and testing the success of those offers by market and by segment
• Identifying and prioritizing lists of customer prospects to serve as leads for the sales team
• Creating metrics for the success of the various marketing campaigns, and managing reporting of those metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-5 years experience in marketing
• Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns
• Experience with systems and databases that support direct marketing campaigns
• Experience in sales support or direct marketing preferred
• Technology background ideal
