History

MED Institute, Inc. was incorporated in 1983 to identify and develop new medical product concepts. From conception to marketing, MED provides a continuum of services to support the medical product manufacturer. The staff includes over 170 research, medical, scientific, engineering, and technical professionals.  MED provides a dynamic and challenging work environment found to be especially rewarding to those with initiative.

 

Summary

This position is responsible for working closely with the Medical Affairs team to provide in-depth medical review of clinical data for global clinical studies; assess adverse events identified in the medical review process; develop, review and maintain medical summaries for study subjects; provide medical input for clinical research protocols and case report forms; and work closely with project teams to meet study objectives.

 

 

Requirements

Essential Qualifications



·        Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required;

·        Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required;

·        Current RN licensure in the State of Indiana required;

·        Prior clinical experience required (5 – 10 years minimum);

experience in a variety of clinical settings preferred;

·        Demonstrated clinical knowledge; proven ability to accurately

assess and interpret clinical data;

·        Extreme attention to detail;

·        Conscientious, dependable, self-motivated individual with

outstanding work ethic;

·        Strong problem solving skills and personal discipline;

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

·        Excellent organizational and prioritizing capabilities;

·        Ability to handle multiple projects within strict time

constraints;

·        Teachable, positive attitude with a genuine willingness to

learn;

·        Ability to work both independently and within a dynamic team

environment; and

·        Ability to present a professional and personable demeanor in

interactions.
