Early Childhood Education Director

We are currently seeking highly motivated, dynamic individuals to fill a Director/Education Director. Candidates must meet all NYC Licensing requirements including New York State Education Department Certification and at least two years of experience as a group teacher in a program for children under six years of age, and meets all New York State requirements.

Candidates are expected to be highly motivated to work in a start up child care center to develop curriculum across the spectrum of early child development that will create a warm and nurturing environment for children, parents and staff. As a team builder and leader, candidates are expected to work with center's director to train staff and implement curriculum.

• New York State Certified Teacher with all licensing requirements a must
• MA degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or in progress
• Prior Administrative/Supervisory Experience in a childhood setting
• Minimum of two years in Early Childhood classroom teaching experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
