Credit Assistant
Interline Brands is a business-to-business catalog, wholesale distributor of Maintenance, Repair and Operations products. We market and sell our products to professional contractors, facility maintenance professionals, hardware stores, over 150,000 professional contractors, and other businesses across North and Central America
Responsibilities:
This position requires general knowledge of legal aspects of extending credit as well as a basic comprehension of collection concepts.
Review of orders referred to credit for evaluation of credit line increases.
Establishment of new customer setups, national account approvals, credit application processing and customer master updates.
Handling high volume of incoming phone calls.
Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years business credit processing experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication and phone skills.
Basic working knowledge of Word and Excel.
Proficient in use of business credit reports (Dunn & Bradstreet, Equifax, etc).
Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
Multi-task orientated and ability to handle significant workload volume to meet daily deadlines.
