Job Description


12 month contract with potential of going direct:

Primary responsibility is to research, design and develop software systems, software applications and tools for new programs as well as enhancements and modifications to existing software. This involves:

• Supporting the software architect/lead in developing technical solutions to complex problems while adhering to prescribed CMMI software processes.

• Taking responsibility of the full software life cycle including the application of standard methodologies such as Object Oriented Analysis and Design.

Job Requirements


 

A Masters degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years directly related experience or a Bachelors degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years directly related experience is also required.

Equivalent years of directly related experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.

Required to have the following basic skills:
(1) Experience in developing real-time embedded software using VxWork
(2) Experience with the RAD750 processor
(2) Experience in C++
(3) Experience in designing software in UML using Rhapsody
(4) Experience in using the DOORS tool to manage requirements
(5) Experience in using ClearCase as a the version control tool
(6) Experience in using ClearQuest as the defect tracking tool

Required Key Skill(s)

C++

ClearCase

ClearQuest

Experience in the following:
(1) Developing simulation software in C or C++
(2) Developing models using the Virtutech development too

Assignment length approx 12 months - could be temp to regular
