Description THE MDS COORDINATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TIMELY AND ACCURATE COMPLETION OF THE FEDERAL AND STATE ASSESSMENT TOOL.

DEMONSTRATES WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF NURSING CARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESIDENT CARE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AND IS SENSITIVE THAT THE SAFETY AND WELL BEING OF RESIDENTS IS MAINTAINED.

Requirements GRADUATE OF AN ACCREDITED REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL NURSING PROGRAM.

CURRENTLY LICENSED AS A REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL NURSE IN NEW YORK STATE.

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE IN LONG TERM CARE SETTING.

POSSESSES EXCELLENT TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT, DOCUMENTATION SKILLS, AND LEADERSHIP QUALITIES.
