Marketing Specialist - Industrial & Vertical Markets

Provide support in all ISG Channel related activities such as catalog, partner programs and major shows.  Provides support in critical revenue-driving programs such as new product launches as well as direct oversight of all channel support functions to ensure timely and high impact program implementation.  Assist in the development of communications for the field.

• Provide support to all ISG channel related activities including catalog, partner programs, major shows, research, data analysis, vertical marketing and a vast array of SBU and MBU marketing program implementation
• Brainstorm, create, and produce targeted messages for various types of mediums such as advertising, direct mail,  major shows, promotions, and custom communiqués to ensure timely and high impact program implementation
• Assist with content development including writing, proofreading, and re-purposing existing content for  projects including, but not limited to: online communications, direct mail, literature, and internal communication pieces
• Lead and/or support role for internal and external research, data analysis and marketing program implementation
• Managing Pricing Database
• Assumes the lead role on dedicated projects to be defined but could include full responsibility for management and coordination of new business initiatives, catalog optimization, vertical marketing, etc…
• Serve as liaison between internal and external sales and customer care groups on all ISG programs such as promotions, new business initiatives, training and more as required
• Lead and/or manage multiple projects with the ability to prioritize to meet constant deadlines and have the flexibility to ensure ISG Manager remains focused on strategic priorities
• Provide general support to ensure lead times and budgets are met on a consistent basis

• BA or BS degree with business preferred but liberal arts or English is acceptable
• 2-5 years experience in business setting with preference for areas of branding and communications within a manufacturing based company
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite:  Excel, Power Point, Word
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to write across a variety of mediums
• Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and mature professionalism
• Ability to think independently, problem solve, and recommend course of action
• Must be creative with integrity and possess a strong desire to learn
