About The Job
We’re looking for an innovative direct marketing wizard to lead our consumer marketing and communication efforts. In this role you will work closely with the product development team and our client program managers to maximize the effectiveness of our products and programs.
The Consumer Marketing Manager role has a broad mandate, and some specific responsibilities include:
* Get participants to read and pay attention to their Home Energy Reports
* Drive new and repeat traffic to the online Energy Efficiency Portal
* Increase participation in utility rebates and other energy efficiency programs
* Ensure our Reports and Portal are fueled by compelling and actionable energy efficiency advice
This is a ‘soup to nuts’ role – you will develop new marketing strategies and concepts, work with creative resources (internal and external) to implement the best ideas, and then work with the client program managers to incorporate the results into our programs across clients.

Requirements
About You
• You love the challenge of direct marketing – getting people to take specific action through compelling copy and creative.
• You have a minimum of five (5) years of consumer direct marketing experience, driving results in both print and online channels.
• You are great at strategy AND tactics – and you enjoy operating at both levels. You generate great new ideas, and then get your hands dirty to deliver great results.
• You know the importance of delivering the right message to the right target, and you have proven success developing marketing campaigns.
• You know how to design and execute effective consumer market research plans and instruments.
• You have experience and success managing marketing team resources.
• You have strong cross-functional experience, including coordination outside of marketing teams. Experience in a software environment a plus.
• You thrive in an entrepreneurial setting, where constant change is the norm. You have a strong ability to work as a member of a high-performance, multi-tasking team, including efficient time management of multiple projects and deadlines, and effective communication to all levels within the organization.
