Qualified Mental Retardation Professional
(QMRP)
KenCrest Residential Services is looking for a full time QMRP. This is a unique position working in a private ICF/MR home with infants and children who are medically fragile and require 24 hour nursing care. Some weekend and alternative hours may be required to meet the needs of families and children.
Responsibilities include:
· Coordinate children’s non-medical needs
· Develop programmatic plans and assist families as needed
· Ensure effectiveness of interdisciplinary team in delivery of services
· Assist with admissions from hospitals
Requirements
Requirements are as follows:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field (i.e. social work, special education)
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of pediatric hospitals preferred
