Job Description 

Yoh Health Care has an opening for a  Full Time Contract Occupational Health Nurse (RN) in Rochester, NY to work with a Manufacturing company. 

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Administer first aid and CPR in the event of medical emergencies
  • Provide acute direct care, including treatment of occupational and non-occupational injuries/illnesses
  • Coordinate and monitor medical surveillance programs (i.e. hearing conservation, blood-borne pathogen training) Track and analyze medical surveillance results
  • Coordinate/conduct annual CPR/first aid/BBP training for first responders.
  • Provide assistance regarding referrals to Employee Assistance Program
  • Identify primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention and health promotion strategies to optimize employee health and prevent injuries and illnesses (i.e. flu shot program, health fair).
  • Support corporate wellness initiative
  • STD/WC
  • Return to Work
 


Job Requirements 

  • 5 Years Occupational Health Nursing experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Preferred certifications in Occupational Health Nursing or Case Management and basic life support cardiopulmonary resuscitation for healthcare providers (BLS CPR).
  • Baccalaureate Degree in nursing or similar healthcare field is required.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
