Description Oce Business Services is  seeking an experienced Records and Information Solutions Architect (CRM).

The Records and Information Solution Architect provides expertise and knowledge in regard to the highest quality of records/information management, including compliance/risk management, electronic records, legal/regulatory issues, privacy and standards/best practices.  This individual, on behalf of our client, is responsible for implementing efficient processes for timely retrieval and disposal of recorded information.

§        

  • On behalf of our client, responsible for the records and information management program

  • Oversees implementation of records management practices at client sites

  • Oversees the smooth processing, sorting, classification and coding of materials for integration into systems at client sites

  • Responsible for the timely retrieval and referencing of needed information

  • Analyzes the Records Management needs of the client(s) and develops programs that respond to these needs.  Works with Sales and Operations to produce high quality customer service.

  • Manages on-site and off-site components of the Records program

  • Consults on audits of records created and stored within an organization

  • Develops programs for the distribution, retrieval and storage of records, including new information technologies

  • Creates and consults on the maintenance of databases for the control and retrieval of information

  • Ensures all aspects of record keeping adhere to relevant corporate policy or client policy

  • Ensures records are disposed of or archived according to corporate policy or client policy

  • Assists in developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans to ensure that the organization or client has the necessary information to continue functioning in the event of a major disaster

  • Works closely with all staff members to ensure that information systems of the organization meet their needs and contribute to organizational objectives

  •  Makes recommendations that result in cost savings, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and reduced litigation risk

  • Assists in establishing quality control metrics and measures against goals

  • Analyzes and compiles monthly statistical reporting metrics on records and information management

  • Implements and formulates procedures, rules, records and information management policies and procedures

  • Utilizes expertise to evaluate manual and/or automated records systems

  • Provides assistance to users in controlling costs associated with information creation, storage and retrieval

  • Designs and delivers training on records management principles and practices

Requirements

 

  • Bachelors Degree require
  • Masters Degree preferred
  •  

    Certified Records Manager (CRM) required

  •  

    ARMA Member preferred

  • 8-10 years of Records Information Management experience

  • Expert in manual/automated records management systems and

          emerging technology

  • Expert ability to make good decisions based on combination of analysis, experience, and professional judgment

  • Expert in researching, gathering, arranging, compiling, interpreting, summarizing, and evaluating complex and intangible data

  • Prior consulting experience in the area of records management required

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Work closely with user base to evaluate, research and recommend information management solutions

  • Knowledgeable in laws pertaining to records/information management on a federal, state and city basis, such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, HIPAA Privacy, etc.

  • Ability to work well with others at all levels and also work well on own

  • Ability to gather data, perform research and produce a retention schedule
