Job Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for installation and service of all required systems with a heavy emphasis on Stanley Wireless and other Stanley electronic products. This position may also include the responsibility for training other installers, sales representatives, and customer service representatives on electronic products.
Organizational Relationship:
This position reports directly to Technical Coordinator Manager. This position requires a close working relationship with the Sales Representatives, inside sales personnel, customer service, mechanical installers, the management team and other employees at the local SSS office. There are no direct reports to this position.

Specific Responsibilities:
1. 100% of time is field related.
2. Provide for the advance level installation, configuration, programming and troubleshooting of systems such as, Wireless Access Control, offline access control, single door Entry, and other Stanley electronic products Installation techniques must be to industry-approved standards and codes.
3. Computer skills to include software installation and configuration of complex systems, and troubleshooting all systems.
4. Independently manage small to large size projects.
5. Provide point of contact for the installation and troubleshooting for assigned customers at the installation site and via phone. This includes overseeing project installation as well as other installation technicians assigned to the site.
6. Provide advanced customer training for proper system usage. Respond to customer technical inquiries for products to ensure customer confidence/satisfaction and provide customer education while at customer location.
7. Submit complete and accurate paperwork in a timely manner obtaining the proper signatures. Accurately record mileage figures, timesheets, daily job reports, changes and codes. Properly identify warranties and provide accurate descriptions.
8. Mentor and assist lower level techs.
9. Properly maintain company vehicles, equipment, and vehicle inventory as required.
10. Assist with service when assigned.
11. Perform other duties as requested by management.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Must have a strong background in Electronic Security Integration with 3 years industry experience; Lenel experience preferred.
• Mechanical lock experience, detailed knowledge of SSS and SSS products and services preferred
• Must be knowledgeable of low voltage, certification preferred
• Ability to work beyond standard working hours, as well as, participate in an on-call schedule is required
• 75% + travel will be required for at least 12-18 months
• Strong customer service orientation required
• A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required for this position
• Ability to work independently on customer site
• Ability to interact in a professional manner with the customer along with the ability to identify and satisfy customer needs
• Ability to meet deadlines and have strong time management and organizational skills
• Skills or experience with personal computers, including electronic E-mail, personal scheduling, word processing and electronic spreadsheet skills
• Knowledge of industry standards BHMA, ASTM, DHI, BOCA, Life Safety Codes and UL.
• Network training and SQL preferred
Education/Experience:
• High School graduate or equivalent
• 3 years Electronic Security Integration experience.
