Teledyne Storm Products - Cable Solutions Group is a vertically integrated, engineering and manufacturing company specializing in ruggedized cable and cable assemblies. Our business focus is on Industrial Products, Marine and Subsea, Oil and Gas, Medical and Defense products.
We are seeking an outstanding Marketing/Sales person to join our innovative team. The duties and essential functions of this position are: Generate leads, seek sales opportunities, support sales duties and typical specific activities in support of all inside sales persons.
- Promotion of products via face-to-face visits, presenting capabilities & services, seek new opportunities and enhance relationships within targeted customers
- Drop off, discuss and present quotes and sales samples or prototypes to customers
- Perform physical follow-up visits to close an order or renew interest
- formulate specific customer visit strategy that promotes an immediate return or satisfies a specific short term goal
- Makes periodic customers visits and communicates via e-mail and phone to promote our strategic long-term relationship building.
Requirements
The following are the job requirements:
- 3-5 years previous sales experience
- Experienced in PC software such as Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent communications skills both oral & written
- Wire and Cable, cable assembly product knowledge a plus
- Strong personal skills, including presentations
- Travel required will be 80%
Back Ground check and Drug screens are required.
