We are currently seeking a Remarketing Collections Representative to join our Collections Department. Under general supervision the Remarketing Representative II is responsible for maximizing sales proceeds on repossessed collateral, interfacing with customers whose collateral has been repossessed. The Remarketing Representative II handles more complex customer cases that may require deviation from standard routines and procedures. The Remarketing Representative II will assist with training and identifying areas for improvement.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Under direction supervision the Remarketing Representative prepares all applicable state required correspondence, takes care of the transporting and selling of product, and after sale notification to customer.
· When collateral is not reinstated or redeemed, coordinates sale of collateral through business partner network, selected auction houses.
· Answer phones and assist customer with redeeming or reinstating the accounts based on current state laws.
· If collateral is to be reinstated or redeemed, coordinates the collection of necessary funds.
· Ensures that repossession log is correct and current.
· Ensures that Remarketing Queue is monitored and/or updated daily.
· Assist in posting proceeds received from selected partner network or selected auction houses.
· Assist with training and handling miscellaneous projects as needed.
· Ensures that all steps necessary are taken to protect the interest of Harley-Davidson Financial Services.
· Uses effective time management to ensure customer service experience is satisfactory and meets expectations
· Performs additional duties as requested
