We are seeking a qualified professional Territory Construction Manager in Ocala, Florida. Please review the following essential job functions prior to forwarding your resume. This position is for immediate placement.

 

Summary:

Manage assigned construction activities of quality telecommunication sites.  Plan, direct, organize and deploy resources to most effectively complete work. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

·         Analyze existing market conditions and determine strategies for new business development. 

·         Initiate sales calls and presentations with potential clients to achieve business development goals and objectives.

·         Nurture existing client relationships and ensure complete satisfaction with day-to-day operations.

·         Assist with the resolution of customer issues as required. 

·         Direct staff to ensure construction is performed in a quality and timely manner in accordance with plans, specifications, budget, and customer’s expectations.

·          Ensure quality construction is being performed within established budget and schedule while retaining customer standards of performance. 

·         Other duties and projects as assigned.

  Supervisory Responsibilities:

·         Hire, train and develop qualified:

·         Construction Coordinator(s)

·         Estimator(s)

·         Field Operations Manager(s) ·         Project Manager(s)

·         Superintendent(s)

·         Provide development plans for staff as needed.

·         Counsel and terminate staff as deemed necessary in conjunction with HR.



Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience:

·         BA/BS in related field required or equivalent work experience.

·         5+ years cell tower construction management experience, including first hand knowledge and understanding of “brick and mortar" construction.

·         Demonstrated ability to successfully analyze the existing market, develop a plan to target new business and develop and broaden relationships to enhance profitability.

·         Advanced knowledge and ability to work with MS Office and communicate via e-mail from a PC and/or laptop.

·         Extensive overnight travel required throughout specified territory.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

·         Valid Driver’s License
