The Opportunity

 

McKinley, a national leader in real estate and property management, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Affordable Housing Supervisor to join our team. 

 

The Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversight of the day-to-day supervision of the members of the Central Administrative Office (CAO) staff
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of resident certifications
  • Accurate & timely submission of vouchers and special claims to HUD
  • Responsible for all compliance for all HUD & tax credit properties within the CAO. 
  • Auditing files monthly, preparing for HUD audits, processing all daily activity for properties assigned to CAO including receipts, applications, daily traffic, move ins, move outs, etc. 
  • Providing outstanding customer service to residents in Taylor as well as the community, regional, & corporate employees.

Requirements

The Requirements:

 

  • Three to seven years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Contract Section 8 and HUD certification processing experience with TRACS submission required. 
  • PC experience, MRI knowledge and skill, and a thorough knowledge, understanding, and application of basic accounting principles.
  • AHM, TaCCS, and COS certification strongly preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience required with the ability to motiviate and lead a successful team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and superior organizational skills.
