Job Description

Oversees all IT operations services (helpdesk, systems, and applications) across a significant group of countries (e.g. sub-region) or business area. Responsibilities are organized around two axes: (1) Service Delivery Management - Leads a team of managers who closely manage the local IT teams delivering IT services. These managers coordinate and optimize the IT services and projects, in alignment with corporate policy and international/regional IT strategy, and ensures that the local IT teams provide 'best in class' services to the end users and that procedures are standardized across regions. (2) Business Relationship Management - Partners with the regional business leaders to obtain/develop the business requirements and future business development plans and to translate them into IT solutions/services. Keeps the business community up-to-date on IT projects/deployment. Defines the goals and objectives of one or more functional business units. Anticipates and identifies complex business needs and recommends solutions to complex problems. Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management.



Job Requirements

Typically requires 7 - 10 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

 

Management of outsourcing partners; expertise in manufacturing, logistics and procurement; strong communication skills; Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
